Barcelona hosted third division Hercules for the second leg of their last 32 tie in the Copa Del Rey. The third division side came away from the first game with a credible one-one draw and entered the contest at the Nou Camp with renewed optimism of causing a shock but Arda Turan would have other ideas.
The Catalans take the lead through Lucas Digne, who gets his first goal since arriving from PSG, in the 37th minute.
Ivan Rakitic then adds a second after converting from the spot, following a trip on Andre Gomes, on the stroke of half time
Rafina adds a third 5 minutes after the re-start before Turan gets his first of the evening with a header from close range 5 minutes later.
The Turkish midfielder gets his second when he's the quickest to react to Paco Alacer's saved header with four minutes remaining.
Alcacer then ends his long scoring draught before Turan completes his hat-trick with a superb curling effort, both in stoppage time. 7 nil is how it ends.
Also through are Eibar after a 3-1 win at home to Sporting completed a 5-1 aggregate win. Sevilla defeated Formentera a staggering 9-1, 14-2 overall. Deportivo overturned a one nil loss in the first leg to beat Real Betis 3-1 while Osasuna came through 2-1 on aggregate thanks to a two-nil win at home to Granada and Valencia beat Leganes 2-1 making it 5-1 in total.
