The China Ladies Open in Guangdong, is the final event on the China LPGA tour, and hometown favourite Feng Shanshan is making a move up the leaderboard. The former major winner, is a shot off the pace heading into the final round, and has won three of her last four events, and is seeking to become the first Chinese golfer to win this tournament.
South Korea's Kim Hyo-joo would be able to grab the lead, thanks to tee shots like this on ten. She managed a 3-under 69, and is 1-under after two rounds.
Feng a bronze medalist at the Rio Olympics would end the day a shot off the pace. The Chinese missing this birdie on ten, as she fails to read the ridge on the green, leaving it short.
South Korea's Jang Ha-na also has trouble with ten, the former winner here is also in contention.
Feng would settle for a par on, as we approach the back-nine. We will have a recap of the tournament on tomorrow's Sports Scene.
