A war based on lies has been devastating Iraq for years. Voices have been mounting inside the country to bring action against the US, Britain and other countries that started the war, and demand compensation.

For the Iraqi government, initiating investigations and demanding compensation seems impossible. Because consensus has been reached among all parties. But more and more individuals who fell victim to the war, have filed lawsuits to claim compensation. This is more than necessary, either in the matter of legal process or from a humanitarian perspective," said Lameaa Al Ameri, member of Iraqi Parliament.
