Meanwhile, a commander from the armed Islamist group Ahrar al-Sham says a new deal has been reached to complete the evacuation of eastern Aleppo. The evacuation was suspended on Friday over allegations that rebels were preventing the evacuation of wounded people from two Shi'ite villages: al-Foua and Kefraya.
The insurgent commander Al-Farouk Abu Bakr said the new deal would include the evacuation of wounded people from those two villages, and the full evacuation of eastern Aleppo. The announcement has not yet been confirmed by the Syrian government.
