Leaders of European Union member countries will meet in Brussels on Thursday for a one-day summit to discuss several issues. They include migration, security, the economy and external relations.

Leaders are also expected to reaffirm their commitment to the EU-Turkey statement issued in March. Officials will also exchange notes on a number of internal security measures, economic and social issues, and strategies for trade within the single market.
