China's top leaders are mapping out economic plans for next year. The Central Economic Work Conference opens in the Chinese capital this week.
The annual meeting sets the national agenda for China's economy and finance. It's normally held over two days during the 2nd or 3rd week of December.
In a prelude to the conference, the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee convened on Friday to project supply-side structural reforms in the country will continue in 2017.
Reforms in state-owned enterprises, taxes, finance and social security will also be pursued.
