Chinese President Xi Jinping has sent messages of condolence to Turkey and Egypt following recent bombings in both countries.
In his message to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President Xi strongly condemned Saturday's twin blasts at an Istanbul soccer stadium, stressing that China is against all forms of terrorism. He also said Beijing wants to strengthen collaboration with the international community to address such challenges.
And in his message to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi following Sunday's chapel attack in Cairo, Xi said China supports efforts made by the country to safeguard peace and stability.
