The 2016 China-UK Basic Education Forum in Shanghai this past week marked positive growth in educational exchanges between the two countries.
In 2014 and 2015, there were about 90-thousand Chinese students studying in the UK, making up 20 percent of international students there. In the UK, there were over 40-thousand students studying abroad, with nearly six-thousand students of them choosing China as their destinations.
Among Chinese students who study abroad, business majors are still the top choice, followed by engineering, math, science and technology.
