The Industrial Parks Development Forum and Silk Road International Culture Week are underway in Xi’an city. The events have brought together 500 business leaders and guests from more than 20 countries. Their main focus is to promote the development of international industrial parks along the Silk Road.
Participants are discussing a number of topics, including cross-border financial services and strengthening cooperative efforts between cities along the Silk Road.
"We hope that the industrial parks in countries along the Silk Road will have unified policies, laws and rules --in order to create a better environment for Chinese enterprises abroad and for national development," said Jianzhong Lu, Chairman of the Board, Tang West Market Group.
"So how can we better promote the Belt and Road initiative? One is through cultural exchange, and the other is through the construction of industrial parks.”
"We know that many countries along the Silk Road need Industrial Parks. Many experts have raised good ideas, and we are looking forward to see more projects implemented," said Jiang Tianxi, Chairman of the Committee, Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce.
"The industrial parks will be an important component, as I mentioned, it will create additional economic cooperation among silk road countries," said Jemal Inaishvili, Honorary Chairman, Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce.
"It will definitely will play an important role for the success of the Belt and Road initiative. That’s why we are here to discuss it."
