To the UEFA Champions League now where Real Madrid hosted Dortmund on Wednesday in Group F action. Los Blancos came into the match sitting two points behind the German leaders and were looking to wrap up the group stage with a win to secure the top spot.

Real have been dominant in the group stage, having come out on top in the past three consecutive years. And, a packed crowd at the Santiago Bernabeu is ready to see their club achieve that goal once again.
Zinedine Zidane's side look to be on their way in the 28th minute, as right back Dani Carvajal finds Karim Benzema in the box for a close range finish. The French striker knocks in the cross to make it one-nil for Real, marking his 49th Champions League goal in the process. He's now level with Madrid legend Alfredo Di Stefano.
Benzema continues his stunning form and doubles the tally for Real in the 53rd minute. James Rodriguez picks out the Frenchman with this cross that is headed into the back of the net. Two-nil to Real and the defending champions look well on course for another routine victory at home.
But Dortmund pull one back at the hour mark. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang taps in from just a few yards out to make it 2-1, giving the visitors some hope. Keylor Navas obviously unhappy with his back four.
The hosts almost restore their two goal lead shortly afterwards when Cristiano Ronaldo finds himself all alone with the keeper. But the Portuguese squanders his opportunity and hits the post. It's just one of several opportunities that CR7 missed in the match.
Real are punished two minutes from time as Aubameyang breaks clear before finding Marco Reus for a cool finish inside the box. 2-2 is the final score as Dortmund escape with a point from the Bernabeu. Real equal a club record of 34 games without defeat in all competitions, but have to settle for a second place finish in Group F.
"They're first, we're second. We've tried everything to come first but we didn't make it. That said, I'm very proud of the players, of the work they've done. They've achieved great things, but this rival was able to get us in trouble, with very good players. In the end, the last ten minutes, we should have been more aware," Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane said.
"We have to learn a lot and our path is simply just one: to play to the limit doing the best we can. You assume we've done some kind of tactical calculation but we haven't. We didn't think about which opponent would be better or easier, we didn't think about anything like that at all. We don't have any influence on the draw and the only thing I can assure you is that against any and all opponents, we will push our limits,... which may sound impossible but we will try and make it," Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel said.
JUVENTUS 2 - DINAMO ZAGREB 0
Over in Italy and in Group H, Juventus hosted Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb. Juve have already qualified to the knockout stage after beating Sevilla 3-1 two weeks ago.
Three points would seal a first place finish for the Old Lady. Miralem Pjanic almost finds the back of the net with this header but heads the ball straight at the keeper. It would be a scoreless first half.
Juve eventually break the deadlock seven minutes after the restart. Mario Lemina controls the ball and weaves into the front of the area, ending up with Gonzalo Higuain slotting in the loose ball. It's his first goal in all competitions since the start of November. Some great footwork from Lemina as Juve take the advantage at home.
The hosts double their money with 17 minutes left as Pjanic sets up Daniele Rugani for this header from a corner. Juve hold on to the 2-0 victory. The Italian champions win the group, while Dinamo become only the third team to not score a single goal in the competition's group stage.
In other results on Wednesday, Bayer Leverkusen beat Monaco 3-0 to secure second place in Group E, while the French side Monaco go through as group winners. Tottenham Hotspur beat CSKA Moscow 3-1, with the London side bowing out of the group stage with a win.
In Group G, Leicester City, who have already secured the top spot prior to Wednesday's match, were thrashed 5-0 by FC Porto. The Portuguese side finish second in the group. Group H saw Sevilla hold a goal-less draw at Lyon. The Spanish team qualify for the knockout stage behind winners Juventus.
