A 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck Indonesia’s northern province of Aceh early on Wednesday.

Officials report that at least 20 people were killed while 50 remain trapped under debris. Several children are said to be among the dead.

Dozens of houses, religious buildings, and other infrastructure facilities have been damaged. Authorities say the strong quake sent many people running outdoors in panic.
