A competition held in the city of Shenzhen in South China's Guangdong province was tasked with finding the world's most beautiful air stewardess.

The 30 stunning candidates were recommended by some of the world's leading airlines. But there had to be a winner of course and that honor fell to Liu Miaomiao, a Shenzhen Airlines' stewardess. Also on the podium were Alexandra from American Airlines and Shilpa Sharma from Etihad Airways. Many believe it was Liu's thoroughly engaging smile which won her the day.

The judges said the girls weren't judged totally on their appearances, however, they were also required to be 'gentle, intelligent, charitable and knowledgeable'.
