China has announced it will continue to cooperate with Italy following that country's referendum on constitutional reform. 

"We have noted the result of Italy's referendum on constitutional reform. This is a decision made by the Italian people and we respect the outcome. China has always paid considerable importance to its relations with Italy, and we are willing to make joint efforts with Italy to deepen mutual political trust, expand cooperation in all fields and further advance the strategic partnership between the two countries," said Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lu Kang.
