Former US Under Secretary of State Robert Hormats has criticized Donald Trump for using Twitter as a way to communicate with Beijing. In an interview with our reporter Wu Guoxiu in Beijing Hormats said Trump should consult with team before making any decisions. 

Q1. Trump has a new tweet this morning, quote: "Did China ask us if it was ok to devalue their currency, making it hard for our companies to complete,heavily tax our products going into the country the U.S. doesn't tax them, or to build a massive military complex in the South China Sea? I don't think so!" What's your comment on that?

Q2. Trump spoke with Taiwan leader Tsai Ing-wen by telephone on Friday - how do you interpret that?
