Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has met with his Lao counterpart Thongloun Sisoulith in Beijing. Thongloun is on a four-day official visit to China starting on Monday at the invitation of Li.
The two leaders agreed to cement cooperation in areas including agriculture, production capacity, finance and infrastructure. The two sides also signed economic cooperation deals to fasten development of the Boten-Mohan border economic cooperation zone and to boost trans-border trade.
