South Korea's state prosecutors have called on President Park Geun-hye to answer questions related to her involvement in the scandal surrounding her confidante Choi Soon-sil. Her attorney had earlier rejected any criminal inquiry.
Prosecutors have sent their request to the president's attorney saying they will question Park face-to-face by November 29th. Park's office hasn't replied yet. Protesters will stage the fifth massive candlelight rally on Saturday to demand the president's resignation. It's estimated that between one-and-a-half to two-million protesters will gather in the capital.
