UK companies seem to benefit in their post-Brexit business with China. 29.1% of the respondents say that the UK leaving the EU would create ‘many more’ business opportunities with China, 26.6% saying it will create "more", versus 20.6% believing it would ‘reduce’ and 5.2% saying it would ‘greatly reduce’ the opportunities.
The trade group's survey also shows that almost 60% of participants think that an FTA with China is very important, and more than 30% say it is important, while almost no one thought it was unimportant. A majority of survey participants believe that an FTA will be possible in less than 5 years.
