At the annual China-U.S. Joint Commission on Commerce and Trade, Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang and U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker, were exploring ways to implement the economic consensus reached by the heads of both countries in Hangzhou earlier this year.
Wang stressed implementing these agreements for fewer bumps after Trump takes over. Pritzker said the U.S. private sector has benefited from its business with China, but it is now facing challenges from rising protectionism.
