In China, the last stop of 2016 national club fishing challenge wrapped up in Huizhou, Guangdong province. 264 anglers, coming from 12 cities and provinces and consitituting 88 teams, will be trying their best in order to qualify for the season-ending final set for the spring.

All the teams are composed of three fisherman contesting two phases. Each participant needs to take part in one of the three competitions in the first portion, which is based on total fish caught, total weight, plus a category that takes both into account.

The fisherman are trying to catch Tilapia. Top 16 teams enter the second phase where team members take turns in a one-on-one competition against other sides. In the end the Henan MaYan club beat the Shenzhen Martians in the final.

"I am so happy to win the title, I want to thank my two teammates. We adjusted our tactics successfully according to the situation, that's why we got a good result," said Ma Yan, Huizhou stop winner.
