Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has been questioned at the Ecuadorian embassy over rape accusations he allegedly committed in 2010.

Prosecutors from Sweden and Ecuador, including a police investigator, questioned 45-year-old Assange at the embassy.

Assange sought refuge at the Ecuadorian embassy in 2012 for fear of going to Sweden for questioning and further extradition to the United States. He is also being investigated in the United States for publishing classified military and diplomatic documents.
