South Korean media report that prosecutors are expected to launch an investigation into President Park Geun-hye next week.

Prosecution sources say prosecutors are looking at some time around November 20th.  That's when the legal period of detention expires for her confidante Choi Soon-sil.

The investigation would mark the first questioning of a sitting president in South Korea's history.

A Gallup Korea poll released on Friday shows Park's approval rating remaining at only 5 percent for a second week.
