In Hong Kong, the uproar continues over insults to China at last month's LegCo inauguration. Over 1500 groups have taken to the streets in support of the NPC's interpretation of the Basic Law of the Special Administrative Region.
The motorcade made its way across the city Saturday, with signs and slogans of anti-independence, anti-violence and pro-interpretation.
Demonstrators reached the headquarters of the Hong Kong SAR government and submitted a petition. It calls for disqualifying the lawmakers-elect who insulted China at their swearing-in.
