The China-UK Economic and Financial Dialogue has wrapped up in London, in which a raft of financial deals have been announced...for the latest on the highest level trade talks between the two countries since the UK voted for Brexit, Richard Bestic’s live for us in London.
Q1. It sounds as if the mood music from these talks is positive. Is that the impression you get?
Q2. Extraordinary figures there, Richard, a 70% increase in China-UK trade in eight years. Clearly, trade relations are doing fine - but what about the diplomatic and political side of things. Are those relations equally positive?
