The probability of a Federal Reserve rate hike is still on the table, after the stunning upset by Donald Trump.
Most economists in a Reuters poll say the fed will go ahead with a rate rise, as forecasts come in from several Wall Street primary dealers and European analysts.
The Fed last adjusted the rate in December last year, and was expected to have delivered four more by now, but plans have been thrown off course. Fed Chief Janet Yellen is expected to serve the remainder of the 15 months left in her four-year term, but respondents from the same poll said it was not likely Trump would reappoint her.
