Chinese Confucius Institute in Nairobi has launched a Mandarin language course for diplomats in Kenya. Lessons will officially start from the eighth of November. The course is aimed at enhancing exchanges between diplomats - and improve their language proficiency.
30 students are to attend class twice a week. And the top students will get the opportunity to travel to China for six months. There, they'll sharpen their language skills even more. Both Kenyan and Chinese officials attended the launch in Nairobi on Friday.
