South Korean, US, and UK Air Forces are participating in a trilateral military exercise, which will run until Thursday. The joint drill "Invincible Shield" began last Friday at Osan Air Base in Pyeongtaek county, south of Seoul. The forces displayed to the public the cutting-edge jets participating in the drills.

UK Air Force Chief of Staff Stephen Hillier said the joint drill was meant to enhance "the inter-operability" between the air forces, and strengthen neutral interests in security and defence. South Korea's Air Force Operations Commander Won In-cheol said its air force will secure the country's peace and stability, based upon its strong alliance with the US, and cooperation with allies.
