In Shanghai, set of giant panda twins have met for the first time since they were born at the Shanghai Wildlife Park one month ago.
According to their physical examinations, the two panda cubs have put on some weight, as they're both 10 times heavier since their mother "Yo-Yo" gave birth to them on October 4th. It's a natural instinct that giant panda mothers pick the stronger of the two cubs and nurture that cub, while ignoring or refusing to take care of the other newborn.
"Yo-Yo" started breast feeding the male cub immediately after birth with the female cub taken out for artificial feeding. However on the fifth day, the keepers switched the pair, with both cubs now taking turns between breast feeding and artificial feeding.
