Eight people including two police officers are dead, and over 100 are wounded after a car bombing in Turkey.
Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim blamed Kurdish militants and said the blast targeted a police headquarters in the southeastern city of Diyarbakir.
This comes hours after top Kurdish politicians were detained by police in what was described as a terrorism probe.
Turkey has detained and suspended more than 100-thousand officials following the failed July coup. It has raised concern among Western allies that President Tayyip Erdogan is deepening his crackdown on dissent.
