An exhibition on the linguistic heritage of China's ethnic minorities has opened in Kunming in China's Yunnan Province. More than 1,000 books and around 170 original documents, written in 21 different local languages, are on display.
The contents relate to subjects including: economy, history, culture, law, and ethnology. Government agencies collected the texts over the past three decades. The exhibition will run through November 30th in Kunming, and will open later this year in Urumchi, Nanning, and Beijing.
