Pedal along with cycling -- and later this week will see the Tour of Wuxi take place. But before that would be a one-day event -- the Yancheng Road cycling race in Jiangsu Province. Poland's Jakub Mareczko has had success here in China, winning a stage in last week's Tour of Hainan. And the Wilier Triestina–Southeast team rider would be one of the favourite's on this day.

110 cyclists from 19 teams would compete over the 151-kilometre route -- which also had three sprints involved.

Most of the riders would stay bundled up in the pack for most of the race. But there would be a couple racers that decided to break away from the peloton,

They would eventually be reeled in by the main group -- and at the end it would be Poland's Jakub Mareczko that reaches the finish line first -- clocking in with a time of 3 hour 20 minutes 28 seconds.
