Full coverage: Premier Li Visits Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Latvia and Russia

Premier Li Keqiang was also attending the 15th meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Council of Heads of Government on Wednesday and Thursday in the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek.

Premier Li said the SCO has played a key role in regional stability and in boosting the economic development of its members during the past 15 years.

The premier said China will work with other members to promote cooperation in such areas as safety, economy and cultural communications. That's to achieve sustainable development at a higher level. Let's take a look at some of the organization's plans.

The 15th prime ministers' meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization was held last month in Kyrgyzstan. The meeting discussed the "List of Measures by the SCO to Further Promote Project Cooperation 2017-2021."

It also decided to submit the list for approval in the SCO Council of Heads of Government on Wednesday and Thursday.

The list was launched in September 2015. It covered 38 projects and measures in seven areas, including trade and investment, finance, and agriculture. The list will guide the regional economic cooperation direction of the SCO in the following 5 years.
