To the United States, where a shocking new poll has shown Donald Trump leading the race for the White House for the first time since May. The ABC News/Washington Post tracking poll says the Republican presidential nominee has edged ahead of Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton 46 percent to 45. Yet experts caution not to put too much stock in any one poll, especially one well within the statistical margin of error.
They say Clinton is still the overwhelming favorite. Another poll, the NBC News/SurveyMonkey weekly poll, on Monday showed Clinton's six-point national lead essentially unchanged since last week.
