China has hailed the outcomes achieved during Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak's visit. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said a good China-Malaysia relationship matches the interests of both sides and the region as a whole.
"China has always been following the principle of maintaining friendly, honest and win-win relations with its neighboring countries. China has always been focusing on developing a normal diplomatic relationship with other countries which never targets a third country. We are willing to have friendly relations with the spirit of openness and tolerance with all neighboring countries including Malaysia, and will make continuous efforts to realize a common development and prosperity, so as to benefit the people in the region," said Hua Chunying.
