The State Council Information Office has held a press conference on China's Policies and Actions on Climate Change for 2016.

The annual report on China's efforts in countering climate change comes before the Paris Agreement will take effect on Friday.

In April, China signed the significant international legal document dealing with greenhouse gas emissions mitigation, adaptation and finance starting in the year 2020. 

China's Special Representative for Climate Change Affairs briefed the media on what to expect from the upcoming Marrakech climate change conference.
