Algiers is hosting its 21st book fair, which runs through Saturday. Nearly 1,000 exhibitors from 50 countries are participating, including China.

The Chinese stand has more than 3,000 books on various topics. All have been translated into Arabic, French, and English.

Algerians who have visited the Chinese stand say they are interested in Chinese culture and language, and China’s future in global leadership.
