The demolition of the Calais 'jungle' camp is underway, but the refugee crisis that European countries face remains. Migrants and refugees are being sent to reception centers across France, and some 200 children are being accepted by the UK.

Yet, France says its neighbor should take more responsibility. With the Calais camp gone, the tension between the UK and France may ease. However, as experts point out, this is only a temporary solution.

"Well Britain has been slow and people in Britain now putting pressure on the government saying surely we can solve the problem of few hundred children. It is not a big administrative challenge. and what you see here is a resistance inside the home office and province," said Iain Begg from London School of Economics.
