Over in Turkey, more than 35,000 people have been arrested over alleged links to Fethullah Gulen, a US-based cleric who is being blamed for the failed July coup.
Turkey's Justice Minister says the suspects have been placed under arrest, and another 4-thousand are still being sought. Since the failed coup on July 15th, tens of thousands of people have been suspended, sacked or detained in various sectors, including the military, judiciary, police, education and media.
Ankara accuses Gulen of masterminding the coup, but Gulen -- who has lived in exile since 1999 in Pennsylvania -- strongly denies the charges.
