Q1: China has announced that bilateral ties and friendship with the Philippines have been restored, something President Duterte himself called a defining moment. What does this mean for both countries?

Q2: At a business forum in Beijing today, President Duterte announced a quote "separation" from the United States. Is this part of what he calls his independent foreign policy? How do you see the relationship with the US being managed in practical terms?
