South Korea and the U-S say the latest missile test by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea was a failure. The intermediate ballistic missile exploded after lift-off.
The Pentagon had detected the launch of a Musudan missile near the northwestern DPRK city of Kusong. According to the South Korean military, the launch took place at 11:33 P-M on Friday. The test came on the last day of "Invincible Spirit 2016," the joint naval exercises between the U-S and South Korea.
