Premier Li Keqiang said that China’s economy did better than expected in the third quarter. Li acknowledged that corporate debt levels are high but said the situation is under control.

Li said China’s positive changes include factory output, industrial profits, and investment. He added that more than 10 million new jobs have been created and that the urban unemployment rate is below five percent.
