Senior Chinese Communist Party official Liu Yunshan has arrived in Greece at the start of an official good-will visit. Liu is scheduled to meet Greek leaders to discuss deepening bilateral relations, and attend a series of cultural activities.

His visit coincides with the 10th anniversary of the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries. Three months ago Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras paid an official visit to China. Liu has just concluded a two-day visit to Mongolia and he will also travel to Hungary.
