Let's return to the studio with our guest current affairs commentator, Victor Gao, to further discuss China's Martyrs' Day.

Q1. China fought hard to expel Japanese invaders in the time before and during World War Two. Tell us more about that war of liberation.

Q2. Martyrs' Day is just one day before China’s National Day. What difference do you think it makes, having them as separate occasions?

Q3. The martyrs gave their lives not just for national independence but also prosperity. How will marking their contributions affect society?

Q4. Various activities are being held nationwide. Local governments have also been going online to encourage more young people to take part in the commemorations. How do you think younger people could get more involved?
