South Korean Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se is calling for tougher immediate sanctions on the Democratic People's Republic of Korea for its recent nuclear tests. Addressing the UN General Assembly in New York, Yun said the DPRK's UN membership should be reconsidered. Yun also called for action against Pyongyang's abuse of its own people.
Meanwhile, the DPRK has warned that it may take action against the US and South Korea. Pyongyang says the recent flight of US bombers over Seoul has pushed the Korean Peninsula to the bring of nuclear war.
