In the Chinese city of Xi'an now, home of the Terracotta Warriors, artists from around the world have gathered for the 3rd Silk Road International Art Festival.

A theater troupe from Lebanon has presented a dance performance that explores the story of the ancient Silk Road.

"Sailing Through Time" tells the story of Taymour, a Baalbek native who sets out on the Silk Road in search of China.

By traveling through history and geography, the show revives an ancient path that has united people of different cultures.

Ivan Caracalla, head of Caracalla Dance Theater, says that dance is a universal language, and hopes the show can resonate with Chinese audience.
