China's central bank announced on Tuesday that China has decided to designate Bank of China's New York branch as a clearing branch for renminbi business in the United States. So far, Bank of China has started RMB clearing businesses in 11 countries and regions around the world, including Germany, France, Australia, Malaysia, Hungary and South Africa.
