Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has met with U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon at U.N. HQ, and they discussed the issues of global development and climate change.

Li said China is willing to further its support to the U.N. by playing a key role in international affairs and contributing more to world peace and development. He added China will continue to work to improve the standards of global governance.
The U.N. chief commended China on its participation in important agendas, such as climate change and sustainable development, as well as its support for developing countries and international peacekeeping operations.
