We now head to Rio for the ongoing action at the 2016 Paralympic Games. China continues to top the medal table with a haul of over 100 golds, making them only the third country to pass the century mark at the event.
The men's 4 by 400 meters T53 and T54 level had to be run twice as issues with the track meant some athletes would topple over. China eventually won the event. And in the women's 200 meters T35 final, China's Zhou Xia broke the world record at 28 point 33 seconds.
In the women's 15-hundred meters T11, China's Zheng Jin also set a world record coming in at 4 minutes and 38 point 92 seconds. Meanwhile in the swimming pool, China's Zhang Li took gold in the women's 100 meter S5 free-style final.
In table tennis, China's Zhang Bian and Gu Gaizeng cooperated well to sweep their opponents to take the gold in the women's 4-5 level final. And finally in the men's 9-10 level group match final, China defeated Spain 2-1.
