Hainan Airline has become China's first airline to ban Samsung's Galaxy Note7 on its planes. Hainan Airline now forbids the use or charging of Note7s on its planes because of reported problems with the smartphone's batteries.

Hainan Airline said the phone can't be checked with luggage either. The ban came as airlines in more than other 10 countries also issued similar rules following reports that the Note 7's batteries can explode.
