Tibet's third tourism and culture expo is underway in the regional capital Lhasa. Cultural events, food exhibitions, and a series of forums on trade will take place during the six day affair.

Trade talks will focus on opportunities created by the Belt and Road initiative, Tibet's developing medical industry, and water resource development. About 1,500 officials, experts and representatives are expected to attend this year's expo.
