To basketball now, and LeBron James has had a busy summer. Despite skipping the Olympics in Rio, the King has had a full schedule doing his usual promotional tours. One of his regular stops is China, and this year, he began his trip to the world's most populous nation in Guangzhou.
The King was greeted by thousands of fans around the Tianhe Stadium, home to CSL champs Guangzhou Evergrande. The four-time MVP riding in the back of a pick-up truck. Last season, James led his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers to their first NBA title, beating Golden State in seven games, and becoming the first team to overcome a 3-1 series deficit in the NBA Finals. After his time in Guangzhou, LBJ will make a stop in Beijing on Monday.
